AHA Heartsaver CPR AED

The non-clinical course — First Aid optional

The same life-saving skills, taught for people who are not in a clinical role. If nobody has told you to get BLS specifically, this is almost certainly the course you actually want.

Who it is for. Offices, schools, coaches, childcare and crews — the skills without the clinical vocabulary.

Who certifies you
The American Heart Association. Taught by a certified AHA instructor.
What you leave with
An AHA Heartsaver eCard, valid two years.
How you are assessed
A skills test on the manikin, watched, and a written test. Both have to be passed.
First Aid
Can be added to the course. Ask when you book.
How long
Four hours. The length is set by the American Heart Association.
